Lister engines are the slow speed diesel engines mostly used as a prime mover for agricultural purpose. Lister type diesel engines are the Lister clones also known as CS engines.
Lister engines are Ignition Compression engines as fuel injector is present instead of spark plug and Diesel is used as a fuel.

Water is used for cooling so the cooling type will be water Cooled. Fuel Injection will be of two types :- a) Direct Injection & b) Indirect Injection.

Starting
All the Diesel engines are available with handle start that is manual.
